Close Command for Foxit Reader from within TexnicCenter

Post by Maltetiger »

Hi everyone,
I have been using TexnicCenter 2.0 for a long time now, in combination with MikTex. As to the PDF Viewer, I have now switched to the current version of Foxit Reader (after using a different reader before). Everything works fine with one exception: I cannot find the right command to be written into the TexnicCenter profile settings that would close the current tab of the Foxit Reader, and so every re-compile run of TexnicCenter leads to an error ("Cannot write on **.pdf") if I do not close the Pdf Document manually beforehand. How do I tell Texnic Center to close the current tab of the Foxit Reader?

I have found some discussions on the same problem on the web, but they were rather old and did not help in my case.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Malte
