apa7 layout/template

Post by fipsokrates »

As the 7th APA referencing style was published in 2019, there is already a latex package for it (apa7). Are there already layouts or templates based on this package around? If that's not the case, how can I create those? I am pretty new to LyX/latex, but it seems like apa7 is not based on already existing classes.
Thanks for any help!

apa7 layout/template

apa7 – Format documents in APA style (7th edition)

You can use this without an additional template, if you use a real LaTeX editor instead of LyX. See the manual how to use it. Or write a document in LyX using another class like the standard article class, keep it as simple as possible, export the result LaTeX file and do all the changes needed to use the apa7 class.

LyX was not made to preserve users from learning LaTeX but to allow fast WYSIWYW editing, i.e., for simple works.
