Function keys don't work in Windows

Up to now I have been able to press F1 to build and my shifted function keys configured under the User menu also worked. After not using TexMaker for a couple of months I find now that no matter what function key I press I get the same result: the configured action does not happen and a little graphic drops down at the upper left. Doing a Google search for "TexMaker function keys don't work", I found some items for the Ubuntu distribution but nothing for Windows.

My function keys were not properly set in the BIOS
