Using classicthesis template on Lyx 2.3.1

Post by alcor »

Hello,

i've already used the classic thesis template several years ago on Lyx ( https://bitbucket.org/amiede/classicthesis/overview ). Now i have a new notebook and i'm having problems to install the template. I downloaded the .zip file and i tried to open the files with Lix but it doesn't work. I've seen similar topics, but it's for older versions. Can you help me? What are the steps i have to follow?

Thank you!

Welcome to the forum.
What exactly does not work? Do you get any error messages?
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.

Using classicthesis template on Lyx 2.3.1

I'm sorry i'll be more specific. I downloaded the "classicthesis-LyX2.3-v4.6.zip" file and i extracted the files in a folder. I can directly open single files and edit them on Lyx, but what i'd like to do is to install it like all the other templates (opening it from File->New from model). Where do i have to put the folder i extracted and the .sty files?
