Help centering legend

I am new with LATEX and I am writing my report with LYX but I find huge difficulties in making the legend centered ! here is an exemple of my figures ( fig 1 ) , the legend is extending all the page ! I want it to be centered like (fig 2) ! I've tried the command \centering but in vain .

With the caption package you can do that you needs... See the documentation.
