Can someone help me with updating package (i.e.footmisc). The Miktex gives me error that says :Couldn't connect to server. How can I solve this?

welcome to the forum!
You can change the repository that MiKTeX connects to. Start the MiKTeX package manager (start menu) as Admin, in the main menu choose "Repository" and then select "Change Repository". Click "Next" and choose one, here you go:
