Chapter wise referances

Hi I am using Masters/Doctoral thesis template I am unable to make chapter wise reference section. If any one did please forword

But for MDT, you would need to use chapters instead of sections

this is good but the template uses .bib file. which i s a separate file ans in the main.tex we only call. Also the basic code of this template is written in thesis.cls file. in main there are only three lines of code for referances.

what did you try with Johannes suggestion? Please try posting the code you used for that change, so we can see if something is not the way it should.
