Upgrading to complete from simple

Post by dunark »

Hey folks

I have been trying to install the 2.7.3xxx version for some time now

I have vista 32bit so it have to be the .3xxx version because the others dont work that well on my comp

but under the complete installation it keeps telling me that there is some error with one of the files...

http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/systems ... /packages/

then I look it up on the above site and download it again... and then it works fine but as soon as i start the net installer again there is some new file that is broken... the files does not get broke in order but they usually start with a- b- c- d- or e-

and it is always a new file... I have tried to download the whole installation again... but the error keeps appearing

I tried to install the simple package which is quite a bit smaller...

how can I install the complete version on my comp...

have I overseen something on the way...

my math teacher who is quite good at latex cant find the reason ether...

EDIT: my internetconnection is quite good so i wondered if it is possible to download and install the miktex distribution at once... then it would download the files directly to install??
