The commands for cross reference in the current Lyx are "ref, eqref, ..., nameref" in the toolbar. I would like to add some new buttons like "newref" so that I could click the "newref" button to get the new reference type (this would run the "\newref" command that I already defined in the Lyx preamble).
I have added a new item line with "newref" expressions in the "stdcontext.inc" file. But it has not worked.
Can you explain how to get this, please?
