First I ran Quick Build (F1) on mythesis.tex file with \cite{keyword} for citations, then I ran BibTex (F11) on mythesis.bib file, and then I ran mythesis.tex once again.
mythesis.bbl is generated , but it's empty !!!

The starting point to diagnose the problem is the file mythesis.blg, which reports all the proceses done by BibTeX. Read it to see if it provides a hint and also post it here.
