Undo the effect of \clearpage

Hi,

I've been using LaTeX for a while now. Have been encountering cases in which my report tends to have chapters with one or two lines.

How do I make LaTeX put these short chapters in one page?

Lastly, any way to automate it?

Hmm switched to the documentclass article and everything works out now.
