General ⇒ Config files for LiveTeX2016

So I recently installed LiveTeX2016 for Windows (10) and made some edits to the configuration files under file path C:/Users/<your user name>/.texlive2016/texmf-config. I then wanted to get the default configuration files back, so I deleted them all. I was under the impression that the would be recreated when I opened and closed the TeXworks editor again, but that didn't happen. So now I have no config files....
I even tried uninstalling LiveTeX2016 (and deleted associated remaining files) and then reinstalling, but they're still not there...

Any ideas how I can get them back? Or alternatively, could someone share their config files for LiveTeX2016 on Windows 10?

welcome to the forum!

Were you able to fix the problem? Otherwise, a suggestion: next week, June 1st, the new TeX Live 2017 will be released. You could install that.
