Retardation in writting

Post by kim95 »

I don't know why, but in some documents there is a big retardation between the moment when i write the text and when it appears in the screen. I have noticed that some mathematical expressions with $ contribute to this retardation. Nevertheless, for example, i have one chapter of a book full of equations and expressions (35 pages) and it works perfect, and another one (2 pages) with big retardation (both are written in different documents).

Are there any expressions, packages or something which contribute to this problem?

Hi Kim,

that seems to be an editor issue. Which editor are you using? One with live preview? In that case real-time compilation would slow it down.
