Indexmeister - Semi-automatic indexing for LaTex
indexmeister reads in a LaTex file (or several other formats, if you have Pandoc installed) and uses heuristics to make a list of important terms that you might want to index.
imbrowse lets you rapidly browse through a multi-file LaTex file and add the /index{} tags with many fewer keystrokes than if you did it by hand with a text editor.
You can download both programs at https://sourceforge.net/projects/indexmeister/. On the same page is a short embedded YouTube tutorial showing how the system works.
Currently, I have only tested the programs on my own Linux boxes but the should work in the console on any Unix-like system.
NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.
