Greetings from Europe
I'm just finishing my thesis which I've been writing in Latex. I started off in word -I'm pretty proficient with word- but I noticed it was not going to cut it for my thesis. I don't regret my decision to switch to Latex: my thesis is looking nice and I'm going to keep using it in the future!
Looking forward to learning your ideas, tips and solutions,
Greetings from Europe,
Sara

Re: Greetings from Europe
welcome to the forum!
Many people use LaTeX for a thesis, some don't see utilization after it, so it's great to read that you keep using it!
After university, I use LaTeX for everything which is really important to me, to have the best quality, such as my CV, application letters, and invoices. Only when I cancel a contract, I may use Word for that letter.

At the job, I use LaTeX for documentation. Colleagues and customers were impressed seeing TikZ drawings and even more, seeing the code for them.
