I'm running Windows 8.1, and I would like to paste text from my clipboard into a tex file in Texmaker, but it does not even give me a paste option. The text is definitely available; I can paste it into anything else, like Notepad or even TexnicCenter. I know the new version of Windows limits the accessibility to the inner workings of the Clipboard, but is there a way I can correct this issue?

i think this is best addressed directly to the authors via their Issue Tracker.
