Theses, Books, Title pages ⇒ Illegal parameter number in definition of \@frotmp error

Hey Vel,

I’ve just finished editing the Thesis.cls file, saved it and then opened the main.txt file (as I am assuming this is the file you refer to in your manual as Thesis.tex) and typeset it.

However I get the following error message:

./Thesis.cls:40: Illegal parameter number in definition of \@frotmp.

So checked out line 40 of Thesis.cls and I can’t see what the issue is. Maybe you can?

Hi Alessa,

Does the template compile just fine when you first download it? If it does, then one of your changes in Thesis.cls has caused the error to come up and you need to figure out which one. Once you do, it should be fairly easy to figure out what the problem is.
