I am having problems in submitting my manuscript to a journal. The mail from the editor office says that the ".tex version of document is coded" and a pdf is unable to generate. He has then asked for all the supporting files or the doc file. Now I am a beginner in lyx and I don't know what he means by a "coded tex file ".
How to solve this issue ?

Did you export your LyX-code to LaTeX? The file you should have sent him should have the file ending .tex.

The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.

I have exported it in the latex plain format . The .tex file is generated and that is what I have sent. Better to ask what the issue is.
