I use Texmaker 4.1 for mac OS 10.9.5.
I often use the "Replace" function to find and replace a bunch of strings in my .tex file. The replace function opens a pop-up window each time an instance of the string to be replaced is found. The window says "Replace this occurrence?" and the options are "Yes", "No", or "Cancel".
Each time I select an option (either "Yes" or "No"), the window goes away and pops up again but in a new position. It moves diagonally down and right across the screen as I continue.
Also, although it is possible to simply hit "enter" to trigger the "Yes" response, I inevitably have some instances that I do not want to change and there is no keyboard shortcut to trigger the "No" response. (If they were all "Yes" I would just do "Replace all").
So I find myself chasing the box down the screen as I hit different combinations of "Yes" and "No". One hack is to move the box to the bottom-right-hand corner and then it won't move away any longer.
Two things I would like to see addressed in a future version:
(a) The box stays in the same place
(b) Keyboard shortcut for "No" response.
By the way, I use texmaker a lot and I am very grateful that it exists and it is made available for free. I am fully aware that I am nitpicking. I'm just throwing this out there because it bugs me.
