biblatex not found: Ubuntu 14.04

Post by jskvbinmv »

Hello.

I am trying to edit a LyX document I've created some time ago running Ubuntu 13.10. Meanwhile I've updated to 14.04.

When opening the document I'm getting an error, telling me the biblatex package was requested by the document but could not be found in the list of available packages.

So I did some research and found that the biblatex package has been deleted in 14.04 because it is included in TeX Live.

I checked my installed packages, reinstalled texlive-latex-extra and texlive-bibtex-extra and even installed texlive-full, just to be sure and reconfigured LyX every time but the problem persists.

I'm desperate now... Any help would be appreciated.

Meanwhile I figured what the problem was. For some reason I had biblatex selected in Document settings > Modules.

Thanks for the help I received via PM.
