Large PDF Consolidation

Post by Ironfeliks23 »

I am working on a large PDF consolidation using Lyx. It works beautifully so far. The document is just a bunch of PDF Pages. My question is whether there is a way to disable the warning that says that the distillation is taking too long?

After 5-10 minutes Lyx warns me: The command pdflatex has not completed? Do you want to stop it? It then lets me "Stop it" or "Let it run." If I select "Let it run" all is well. However, I have to click the silly button.

I can tell in the task manager that it stops the thread until you have selected "Let it run". I am putting together a 1GB PDF. I know it will take a while... I just want to let it take a while without me having to babysit for 30 minutes. Any thoughts?

The exact wording of the dialog box is: The command pdflatex "DocName" has not yet completed. Do you want to stop it? Stop it - Let it run

Is there any way to disable this question, as it stops the thread from continuing until I act on the question.
