Hello I try since several hours to get Lyx to work on OS X mavericks.
I installed the MacTex 2012 distribution and subsequently installed Lyx, however Lyx does not find the Texlive distribution and reconfiguration does not work.
Does anyone now, how to set the path manually?
The texlive distribution is installed under the following path:
- /usr/local/texlive/2012/bin/x86_64-darwin
Many thanks

Re: Lyx does not find TexLive on OS X Mavericks
The cause of the problem is, when python 3 is selected as the default python version. Switching back to python 2.7 solved the problem. This can be done as described on this website:
