General ⇒ 'Buffer size exceeded' found no \bibdata or \bibstyle

Hi all,

I'am new on this forum,
and hope to find a solution.
I'am writing an article with a specific .sty file
If I compile my main file:
it says 'Buffer size exceeded' and found no \bibdata or \bibstyle
command while I'am explicitly referring to the my bib file
in the file using the
\bibliography{} command
If I compile the bibtex file seperately it says
found no \bibdata or \bibstyle command while reading .aux file?

I tried a manual entry by adding :
\begin{thebibliography}{99}
\bibitem{} ...
\end{thebibliogrpahy}

It did not work either.
Can anyone help me?
