Path of inserted Files

Post by snorkfrollein »

Hello,

I have been working with LyX for a while now and like it a lot. I just have one major problem. When I put a copy of my document on an external hard disk drive and work on it on another machine - which I often do - then the path for the inserted JPG files is wrong, and so the pictures are not in the document. This is due to the fact that LyX reads the complete path for each picture (e.g. C:/users/...). This path is connected to only the computer I was working on when inserting a file.

Is there a way to change the setting in LyX, so that it relates to the folder in which the document is? I would like to save the LyX document and the JPG files in the same folder and connect within this folder so that my document is not harmed when I work on it on another computer or have safety copy on an external device.

Greetings,
Nora
