help deciding to publish a LaTeX book
I work in the digital department of a small press and my acquisitions editors have been considering publishing a book from an author who has submitted a LaTeX manuscript. The book contains many mathematical formulas.
I don't have experience with LaTeX and don't know what the process is for commissioning a publication starting with this format. Will a normal book designer accept the Latex and create InDesign files from this?
I work with the InDesign files to convert books into ePUB, ePDF, and mobi formats, but I need to know how best to get from LaTeX to InDesign and who could do this for me.
Any information would be helpful! Thank you

You may also benefit from a command line tool called 'pandoc' that can convert between different document formats, including LaTeX, plain text files, and mobi (I think).
