I do not see any "complete" messages following this and when I run TeXworks it still complains about not being able to find "ms.sty". I have tried removing and re-adding the package numerous times to no avail. Suggestions?lightweight database digest: a749da4d95e8532c4cc83b4564c582c2

Automatic Package Installation fails
I tried using the MiKTeX Package Manager (Windows 7, MiKTeX 2.9) to download the ms package (which I also needed for TikZ) and the popup window seems to hang during the extraction.

Automatic Package Installation fails
I'm not sure if you can actually load ms since it's a collection of packages. You might have to load just the package(s) you require, e.g. prelim2e. See here for a list of packages contained in ms.
