Visio and Latex

I use visio to draw the charts and figures and then convert them to eps to use with latex but when i do the conversion all the shadows are gone and the chart doesn't look so good . Is there any other tool or other way to draw charts and figures to use with latex ?

I recommend to try the way via export from Visio to PDF and including the PDF file in your LaTeX document, compiling by pdfLaTeX.
