I am writing my thesis and decided to do it in Latex.. procrastination maybe..
I have many chemical reactions to put in it and have to talk about the same reaction in different contexts... instead of just referencing it with a number, I want to write the full reaction... but keep the same original number.
I am using the mhchem package.. but i think it just uses the normal /begin{equation} bit
I was wondering if one can write the full equation on different pages, and have them numbered all the same? I do have many of these... so can't just make a list without numbers
eg:
C + O2 -> CO2..... 1
2H + O -> H2O......2
then on another page
O + O -> O2.......3
C + O2 -> CO2.... 1
Is this possible?
General ⇒ same equation with same number on different page
