Display Appendix Heading in Middle of the Page

Post by vee_1986 »

Hi,

I created appendix for my thesis which have three chapters. The output displays "Appendix A" and chapter name in the next line at the top of the page. I want to display "Appendix A" followed by "Chapter Heading" in the middle of the page. I used \vfill which is displaying the "Chapter Heading" at the middle but the "Appendix A" is left at the top.

Please suggest something. Thanks in advance :-).

Welcome to the LaTeX community!

Can you please show us your basic settings by providing us with a Infominimal working example (if you don't know what that is or are unsure about it please follow the link)? The best solutions depends on different things like for example the document class you're using.

Also I would thing that the appendix chapter layout should match that of the rest of the document, don't you think?
