Add more BibTeX Database Files

Hi,

I would like to add more .bib files to my project, but it does not seem like I can. And it is driving me nuts. Anyone who can help me out? When I make a new .bib file it says this.
I couldn't open file <filename>.aux
(The main reason why I want to have more bib files is that I would like to separate my BibTeX database entries for articles, books, URLs and stuff)

I'm not sure this require that. At the moment I have one .tex file and one .bib file. But I have another .bib file I would like to add to the project. But when I compile this file using bibtex, it gives me the errormessage from the first post.

I don't know if it's even possible?
