Is my document offset printable?

Post by insipidtoast »

My printer needs to know:
Since Lyx is not a commercial pagelayout program in the graphic art / printing industry, … you may need to tweak it so that the PDF is offset printable. The text trim size has to be 9” x 6” (Upright) with 3mm bleeding for any images or color bleeding out of the page. I will also provide you with a cover template after you receive the quotation.
I have no bleeding images, and I didn't modify any margins. I don't know what they mean by "text trim size" but the entire page size was set to 9"x6" when I first started compiling my book.

So, is my file ready for offset printing? I assumed it was, so I'm just guessing this printer has never heard of Lyx, and therefore he is a bit worried that it won't work.
FYI:
I'm using windows with LyX 2.0 and MiKTeX 2.9
I'm designing a book using the Koma-script class
