General ⇒ problem with bibtex + texnic center

I've a problem with bibtex and texnic center. Sorry if it's dumb, but I can't find a solution anywhere.

When I generate a PDF, wherever I put a \cite command, all I get is a question mark (?). The bibliography at the end generates fine (numbered and eveything), but the in-text citations to it just give question marks.

I get an error message from Latex during the build process for each \cite command saying that the citation is undefined. But still it generates the bibliography fine at the end.
