Hello,
I hope someone could help me. I wrote all my thesis on LaTeXian which is an editor on Mac. The Mac broke, so at the moment I am using Kile on Ubuntu.
The fact of the matter is that when I try to compile the code in Kile it gives me lots of error, even if in LaTeXian was perfect. I don't really have the time to correct more than a thousand errors. Anyone knows how can I solve this problem? Even using a different editor (on Ubuntu)?

Migration from LaTeXian to Kile causes Problems
Could be an encoding problem both for input and file encoding. But due to missing information this is only a random shot. Reduce the problem to a minimal example. A few lines with a working setup for the Mac should do . This would allow us to test it with Kile.

Hi lucamingarelli,
It could also be that you have different TeX distributions on your different computers and one of them is outdated… As Thorsten said: without a
