How to Fit two floats on one page

Post by insipidtoast »

I want to put one figure float on the top half of the page, and one figure float on the bottom half of the page. What's the easy way to do this?
FYI:
I'm using windows with LyX 2.0 and MiKTeX 2.9
I'm designing a book using the Koma-script class

The easy way: mark "Page of floats" in the advanced placement options, either for each float or as document defaults.
