First of all I really am sorry if my english is not perfect.
I'm a recent LaTeX-user and I would like to use Biblatex instead of Bibtex.
As I work on a Mac, I think that Bibdesk is the best solution to create my bib files. My version is up to date and is the 1.5.9
So I did some (a lot in fact ...) research about Biblatex and I figured out that there are many more types of items than in Bibtex.
Bibdesk works perfectly with Bibtex but it has not been enhanced for Biblatex.
I found this Information on the Sourceforge site :
On this link :BibLateX Types and Fields
Normally BibDesk contains type information for standard BibTeX types. However, these do not suffice of you are using BibLaTeX instead of BibTeX. To support the standard type information for BibLaTeX, you can edit the types and fields in the Default Field preferences. As a shortcut, you can also download the following TypeInfo for BibLaTeX file. To use it, make sure you quit BibDesk, and save the downloaded file as ~/Library/Application Support/BibDesk/TypeInfo.plist. Be aware though that BibLaTeX adds a lot of optional fields, which may overwhelm the detail editor, YMMV.

So I tried to use this file but it didn't work for me.
In fact the directory ~/Library/Application Support/BibDesk/ didn't exist ; I had to create one BibDesk folder.
Then I placed the renamed file TypeInfo.plist (when BibDesk was closed) in this folder but nothing happened when I reopened BibDesk.
Is there a way to load this file in BibDesk and then save the fields. Or is there a way to create these fields in a fast-method ?
Thanks in advance for the time you will spend to help me.
Best Regards
Alex
