Page Size Problem with missing Lines

Post by dc3 »

Hi,

Have just moved from many years of MiKTeX on PC to TeXShop on Mac. Going reasonably well except all my PDFs are missing a line of text. Any ideas? I have tried going via DVI and Skim, and altering default page size from letter to A4, but to no avail.

Any help most gratefully received!

Page Size Problem with missing Lines

Many questions remain open.
So, for an adequate problem description and in order to avoid guesses and random shots please prepare a minimal example that contains all necessary but only relevant information in form of code.

Best regards and welcome to the board

Thorsten - thank you very much for the reply, and I am embarrassed to reveal that that I completely misunderstood the problem. It is nothing to do with changing to a Mac - re-running the project on MikTeX produced exactly the same output. So the trouble lies in some of the large and baroque style files that I have inherited from my former institution, which is certainly not a job for a forum like this!
