Multiline equations

Post by samiul »

Hello,
I am new in Latex. Can anyone help me to write this equations? I have read number of post in here but did not have much helped.

//equation
//where, P1 > P2 for weighted matching and P1 = P2 for linear matching technique.

I could not maintain the alignment. I need it as a numbered equation. i used split and gathered. Gives horrible output for split but for gathered it gives ok for last line but the first line goes to another column (my document is two column).

Can anyone help please??
thanks
Samin

Hi Samin,

welcome to the board!

Please show the code of your split and gathered version. We could help to improve it. Without the code it's hard to tell what may be wrong.
