Extended Mode

Post by azizever83 »

Hello,

I'm using Texmaker and was very comfortable with it. However, today I got a problem with it. the message saying some thing "Entering extended mode" I tried to update to the latest version bot nothing from (3.3.2 to 3.3.3). the same problem. Also tried to google this problem but no answer seems to be perfect. Please tell me what is the problem cause I need to submit my assignments tomorrow.

The extended mode only concerns the typesetting engine and its capabilities. So, where exactly is the problem with this mode? Which is your TeX system?

I know this message line. But where exactly is the problem with that? Does it cause any trouble?

With LaTeX you can also include graphics (albeit in another format).

Seems that there is a problem with the log file. Hope that this information helps you to get the idea about what is going on.
Thanks a lot for your efforts.

What makes you think so?

These lines are quite normal in the log file. Does the log file only contain these two lines?

Unfortunately not at all. There isn't even a clear problem description.

What makes you think so? Do you only guess or do you know? Perhaps you should start with updating to MiKTeX 2.9 and try again.

There's no special sequence required. But you decide for only one editor. TeXworks is shipped with MiKTeX, thus already installed with it.

Just as a side note, the extended mode will be activated again. And your problem is definitely not related to that. But as long as you don't give an adequate problem description it will be impossible to diagnose.

Hello mate,
Thanks a lot for ur contribution. But tell me how can I provide adequate description for my problem? what else do you need to know? I think this is a common problem as so many people trying to find solution for this but I did not find any one who is able to solve this problem :( Whenever I try to make a new file I got the same problem.

As you can see in the picture. I am working with a file called virtualization.tex but the pdf file and the log file are different in the name from the

and also the is a file seems to be busy named as Virtualization.synctex.gz(busy)
I hpe that this makes it more clear,
