Texniccenter-alpha doesn't recognize XML Parser

Post by solidfake »

Hello,

Today I installed MikTex and Texniccenter for the very first time, I wanted to use the program for a protocol for which my university supported us with a short installation guide and a template file.
The problem is that I can't use the template file, if I try to import the template file it tells me: "To use the following function you have to have to install XML Parser." The problem is that I have XML Parser 6.0 already installed on my system.

I already tried installing XML Parser 4.0 SP2 as well, and reinstalling XML Parser 6.0 several times, without any success, Texniccenter still doesn't accept it.

I use The Texniccenter alpha 2 version, running on a 32bit system with windows 7. As Latex distribution I use the latest MikTex version.

Here is the template file if anyone is interested: http://www.file-upload.net/download-427 ... l.tco.html

Does anyone have an idea what could cause that problem?
