Hi,
I realize I can use search/goto to get to a line number in a TeX program but is there some way to display line numbers in the editor as a default? Thanks.

Displaying Line Numbers in TeXnicCenter
Just go to Tools -> Options, choose the tab "Editor" and check the box labelled as "Show line numbers".

Re: Displaying Line Numbers in TeXnicCenter
I don't have the Editor tab in my version of TeXnicCenter. Is there a way I can select something that will make it active and appear? Or perhaps download a different version of the programme? The version I have is 1 Beta 7.01. Any help would be really appreciated
Thanks in advance.

Displaying Line Numbers in TeXnicCenter
In late June there has been released a new Version of TeXnicCenter [1]. All the descriptions here refer to this version.sjb1027 wrote:[...] Or perhaps download a different version of the programme? The version I have is 1 Beta 7.01. Any help would be really appreciated [...]
