BibTeX, biblatex and biber ⇒ Problem with model1-num-names.bst file

I have been facing problems trying to use natbib.sty file with the above .bst file. Neither \citet or \citep commands are working as neither the reference no. is generated nor the reference. Can anyone help me out.
