Translation of Theorem Captions

Post by nanitous »

Hi All,

In LyX I'm using the amstex style. And I've set the document language to "dutch".
Now, the captions for definitions, theorems, lemma's etc are nicely translated to their respective Dutch translations definitie, stelling, lemma.

But "Corollary" is not translated where a nice translation could be "Gevolg".

How and/or where can I change the translations to add the missing translation for e.g. "Corollary"?

Translation of Theorem Captions

Well, after a more persistent search ;) I found the solution to my own problem on the LyX-wiki. So for future reference, everyone - in any language - with the same problem can find the solution here :

http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/I18nLabels

The solution presented there probably requires some tweaking.

I find the notion of "label" a bit of a misnomer for "caption", but, hey, there you go.
