I have a two col document. I specify a footnote and it places it, as it should do, at the foot of the col, i used it in.
However, the journal template I am using, also uses that particular "foot bit of the page" to add some journal stuff, so it looks untidy.
Is there a way I can force the footnote to appear at the bottom of the next col.?
thanks

Footnote Placement
Hi,
did you read the explanation here? I guess the reason why some of your questions did not get an answer because you did not provide an MWE. Understandable, as nobody can test your code and the question is quite theoretical in such cases.
