hello world,

on a paper i have seen a symbol close to the infinity symbol but with a right loop bigger end not achieved.

What is the signification of this symbol ? and how i can make this with latex ?

I do not understand what you mean. Could you explain that again?

Perhaps do you mean \propto or \varpropto? The latter is from the amssymb package.

You can take a look at »The Comprehensive LaTeX Symbol List« to find out the corresponding command. The other way round would be to consult Detexify by drawing the symbol and obtaining suggestions of possible commands (and additional packages if necessary). I assume it's the math symbol \propto.
