Just introducing myself before I post my first question to the community. I'm a long-time LaTeX user, largely self-taught learning new features when I need them. I therefore have considerable depth in some areas, astonishing shallowness in others! I'm probably describing many users!
I'm a physics and astronomy prof at a small Canadian university, and do all my lecture notes, assignments, papers, primers, even my slowly evolving text book in LaTeX. My first experience in TeX was in 1988, when I was writing up my dissertation, so I've been around the block a few times. And yet, every once in a while, something stumps me big time; ergo me finally logging on to this forum. Thanks in advance everyone!
Cheers, David
