Command for underscore character

Post by gverdool »

The key for the underscore character on my keyboard broke down. Usually I work around this using the corresponding ASCII code (ALT + code). This does not work in TXC: all codes invariably produce a question mark. My next solution would be to define a new command (or perhaps a macro) in TXC to produce the underscore. This seems so simple but I cannot find how to do this ("Tools - Import TeX commands" is not suitable?).

Thank you,
Geert
