I'm trying to make use of the \sound command in the multimedia package in a presentation. However, for some reason the sound does play, but it is heavily distorted and way too loud. Is this a bug or a known problem? I'm on OSX 10.7.3 (Lion) and am using TeXShop. I have the latest MacTeX distribution (2011).

UPDATE:
I have tested it also by setting all options explicitly, but that doesn't help either. When I use the \movie command the sound plays without any problems, so I guess I'll use that for now. Still hope someone can shed some light on this issue though.
