Hey there,
i'm writing with the report class "scrreprt" (KOMA Script). Now, i want to insert a picture that is really large, and i want it to be printed larger than the margins of the text are. I currently have a margin of 3 cm on both sides for the text and that is a bit small.
Is it possible to format the picture with a special "page" with unique settings to fit better?
Also i have the problem that the description does not fit on the page and is simply left out.
I hope you can help me on this,
Harper

Insert Large Picture that exceeds Margins
Hi Harper,
you could fake the width using makebox, such as here: Centering wide tables or figures.

\includegraphics[width=1.4\textwidth]{mypic}}

Hm, that does not seem to work, with your code it tells me *** (job aborted, no legal \end found)
I tried to use the code after the link, but it didnt work either..
Anyway, this would fix the problem with the width, but not with the heigth, am I right?
What I may have forgotten: The Image is in A4 format.. I don't need it to fill the whole page, but a bit lager than the margins are would be nice..
