Undetected File Name Error

Post by Dopplereffekten »

Hello.

I have just downloaded Texmaker on my Mac OS X Lion 10.7. I had Texmaker on my other Mac but I have bought a new one:D maybe I´m doing something wrong but when I run the document i get this error:

Can't detect the file name.

Also when I go to quick build i get this errors:

Can't detect the file name
Could not start the command.
Could not start the command.

I hope someone out there can help me because i use this at school

It surely would have been if we'd have had a little bit more information :) (my best guess right now would be a faulty installation…)

I hope Dopplereffekten figured it out.

well I had the same issue, and googling led to this thread, which wasn't really helpful.

Anyways, for me, I had to run wizard, then "save" the file before you "quick build".

Hopefully, this can help someone in the future.
