Evince | Page Number of opened Document not maintained

Hi,

I am using evince to view my PDF files. Recently, after compiling my files, I have noticed that the current view is not maintained by evince. Instead, it keeps opening the PDF file at a page number which is not the same page that I was viewing before compiling the file. Any help to fix the problem is appreciated.
